Our Green Teas

Green tea has been revered in the Far East for millennia.  Today, it is finding new friends in the West as well and has become a permanent fixture on the UK tea scene. Green tea is made from the first buds and leaf tips to emerge from the tea plant and this freshness is reflected in its light, floral tones. Green tea is not oxidized, thus helping to preserve its natural antioxidants, which have been proven to be essential for the body to maintain a healthy balance. The more that is learned about green tea, the more fans it attracts as it continues to grow in strength and popularity. As an added advantage, green tea is low in caffeine, which further enhances its status as a truly wonderful tea! 

The tender young leaves are delicate and easily harmed; to get the best results from these wonderful teas they should be treated accordingly.

   Tending to be light in color, smooth with reasonable depth and body.
